DC with Illinois Women's Institute for Leadership Training Academy

I traveled to DC with IWIL to continue my leadership and policy training, including a day in the Capitol and two days in DC to meet with policy makers about current legislation and policies affecting local communities. My participation in this program is not taxpayer funded.
