IWIL Training Academy’s Class of 2026

I am deeply honored to be selected for the Illinois Women’s Institute for Leadership Academy, and I’m ready to learn and grow as a leader for Illinois and be a force multiplier on behalf of the women in Forest Park and Proviso Township. I have actively worked to build networks of women leaders, and I’m looking forward to sharing the knowledge and resources I will gain from IWIL to enable a community of women to benefit and advance together.  I am actively involved in local organizations and encourage the cross-pollination of ideas. IWIL will help improve my knowledge of our state, its history, and how to serve and advance the needs of our residents.  

I love working in the public sector! As a Commissioner for the Village of Forest Park, I aim to make a significant impact through my work as a pro-choice female elected official, using my skills, knowledge, and experience. I see the opportunities ahead, and IWIL offers a chance to expand my impact through training and networking with other pro-choice Democratic women leaders who are paving the way across our state as policymakers advancing important work in Illinois.
